For your convenience! All you need to do to have your dog's semen frozen and stored is:
- Have your veterinarian collect semen from your dog and sign the AKC form certifying the semen was collected by a veterinarian (the AKC form is included in the Cryo-Kit). If your dog does not yet have a DNA profile on file with AKC, submit a DNA sample to AKC. (Dr. Vanderlip will provide the DNA kit if you need one).
- Add the semen to the Cryo-Kit Media.
- Place the semen-media in the Cryo-Kit.
- Include a copy of your dog's AKC registration.
- Include a copy of your dog's DNA profile, or provide DNA profile number.
- Ship Cryo-Kit FED EX priority overnight to ICSB-San Diego.
ICSB has the first and only consistently successful system for shipping canine semen for processing and storage. The breeder may ship the semen directly to Dr. Vanderlip in Lakeside, California via FedEx Overnight or UPS Overnight.
